Restorative Dental Care
in Dublin, CA
It’s common for most patients to need at least one restorative dental treatment at some point in their lives. At Dublin Smiles Dentistry, we practice conservative dentistry, which means we only recommend the treatments that we believe will benefit patients the most. We strive to make our restorative services as comfortable, efficient, and productive as we can so that our patients can spend less time in the dental chair and more time showing off their beautiful smiles!

Tooth-Colored Fillings
Our office uses composite dental fillings that are made to match the shade of the patient’s tooth so that they blend in seamlessly. Tooth-colored fillings are durable, and they do not require as much of the patient’s natural tooth to be removed before they can be placed.
Same-Day CEREC® Dental Crowns
Our practice uses an onsite milling machine to make custom dental crowns made of durable ceramic materials in less than an hour. Our dental crowns are customized to match the exact size, shape, and color of the patient’s surrounding teeth so that they will blend in beautifully.
Traditional Crowns & Bridges
Dental crowns are tooth-colored caps that are placed over a single tooth to protect it from damage and restore its appearance. Dental bridges look like three or more crowns that are attached together, and they can be used to restore teeth or replace missing teeth.
Full, Partial & Implant-Supported Dentures
Whether you are missing a few teeth or many teeth, our practice offers custom dentures that can be designed to fit your needs. Partial dentures are designed to clip onto nearby teeth and fill in gaps in a patient’s smile, while implant-supported dentures attach to dental implants and full dentures rest on top of the gums.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are titanium posts that are implanted into the jawbone, where they fuse with the bone and create a stable base for an implant crown to attach to. Dental implants are known for looking, feeling, and functioning similarly to natural teeth, and they help patients maintain healthy jawbones.
Dental Extractions
Dental extractions can become necessary for a variety of reasons, like excessive tooth decay or dental trauma, crowding, or infection. We want our patients to keep their natural teeth whenever possible, but we provide gentle dental extractions when removing a tooth altogether is the best choice.

What’s the difference between restorative and cosmetic dentistry?
Restorative dental services focus on repairing and restoring the teeth, gums, and jawbone back to their original health and functionality, or getting as close as possible. Cosmetic dental services are typically scheduled when patients want to improve the physical appearance of their smiles. There can be a lot of overlap between cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Crowns, implants, and dentures, for example, can be used to complete and improve the appearance of a patient’s smile while also providing them with healthy, functional teeth.

Is restorative dentistry expensive?
We always want to help our patients find flexible financing options to cover the cost of their dental care, especially when it comes to restorative treatments. Fortunately, many dental insurance plans cover all or most of the cost of necessary restorative dental treatments. Our practice also offers in-house financing, which patients are welcome to utilize to divide the cost of their treatment plans into smaller monthly payments.
